About the business/role/team
The Innovation Lab is a strategic capability within the organisation, focused on exploring emerging technologies, driving experimentation, and enabling business-led innovation. The Lab has a sharp focus on executing the Bank’s inaugural AI strategy, helping embed AI into the fabric of how we work and deliver value. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Innovation Lab, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, business unit leaders, and technology partners to identify opportunities and bring innovative ideas to life. This role sits within the broader Knowledge Management function and plays a key part in shaping the future of how we work.
About the role
Champion the Bank’s AI strategy and promote awareness, literacy, and adoption across teams.
Engage with business units to uncover opportunities for AI and innovation and help progress them from concept to impact.
Facilitate design thinking workshops and innovation sprints to co-create solutions with stakeholders.
Stay on top of emerging trends in AI and technology, and bring fresh insights into the Innovation Lab.
Act as a connector between business needs and the Lab’s capabilities, helping build a pipeline of impactful innovation projects.
About you
You’re a natural communicator and influencer who can energise diverse audiences.
You have a strong understanding of AI concepts, including generative AI, machine learning, and automation.
You’re skilled in design thinking methodologies and workshop facilitation.
You’re curious, creative, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and change.
You have experience in stakeholder engagement, business development, or transformation roles.
You’re passionate about emerging technologies and their potential to create meaningful impact.
You have a solid grasp of change management principles, ideally with experience or certification in frameworks such as ADKAR, Prosci, or equivalent.
