Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Inside Sales & Customer Support Specialist to join our growing team. In this hybrid role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, balancing proactive sales outreach with exceptional customer service and accurate order management. The ideal candidate is a master multitasker who can pivot from a friendly customer service call to a strategic sales conversation, all while ensuring data is meticulously entered into our systems. Key Responsibilities
 

1. Inside Sales & Account Management

  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, provide information about our product offerings, and assist them in making informed purchasing decisions.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls/emails.
  • Upsell and cross-sell complementary products or services to existing customers by understanding their unique needs.
  • Qualify leads and route significant opportunities to the appropriate Outside Sales Representatives when necessary.
  • Prepare and present accurate price quotes and product availability to clients in a timely manner.

2. Customer Service & Support

  • Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat.
  • Resolve customer issues, complaints, or shipping delays with empathy, efficiency, and a solution-oriented mindset. Process returns and credits as required.
  • Provide basic technical product knowledge and guide customers toward the right solutions for their needs.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.

3. Order Entry & Administration

  • Accurately process and enter customer orders into the ERP/CRM system with high attention to detail.
  • Verify order details, including pricing, discounts, shipping methods, and billing information, to minimize errors.
  • Track order status and collaborate with production, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Maintain and update customer profiles, interaction logs, and sales pipeline data in the CRM.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in sales or marketing preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, customer service, or a related administrative role (experience in a B2B manufacturing or IT a plus).
  • Proficient in Office and CRM software (Oracle Cloud and Google Workspace would be an advantage)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong, professional phone presence.
  • Proven ability to input data quickly and accurately; high attention to detail is non-negotiable.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
