Summary

ESET protects 110 million users and 400,000 businesses worldwide. Three decades of endpoint security, sold entirely through the channel — which means finding new customers and finding new partners are the same job.

Job description

The role

You'll generate new opportunities with Australian SMBs through outbound prospecting, then recruit the reseller or MSP who fulfils them. Two-sided, commercial, and yours to own — you carry a number for both new logos and new transacting partners.

It suits someone who's outgrown pure SDR work and wants the outcome, not just the meeting.

What you'll do

  • Prospect and cold-call Australian SMBs to find and qualify new opportunities

  • Recruit resellers and MSPs to fulfil the deals you create — source, pitch, onboard

  • Get new partners transacting: deal registration, quoting, first orders

  • Run competitive displacement campaigns against other endpoint vendors

  • Build and work your own pipeline of customers and partner prospects

  • Pass larger enterprise deals to Channel Account Managers

  • Forecast accurately, keep CRM current, and hit your monthly and annual numbers

What we're looking for

  • 3–5 years in inside sales, business development or channel sales — IT, software or cybersecurity

  • Genuinely comfortable cold calling; you don't need a warm list to get moving

  • Working knowledge of SMB and MSP: how small businesses buy IT, how MSPs package and resell it

  • Commercially confident — you can talk margin, structure a deal, hold your ground

  • Systematic pipeline discipline and strong CRM habits

  • Curious about how customers actually run their IT, not just what they'll buy

Bonus: Endpoint or IT security product knowledge; experience selling through resellers, MSPs or distribution; partner recruitment or onboarding experience.

What we offer

  • Commission that pays separately for new revenue and new partners recruited

  • Real authority — pricing latitude and deal registration approval, so you're not waiting on someone else to close

  • A clear path to a Channel Account Manager role

  • Pre-sales engineering support on technical conversations

  • Global backing, small-team pace

  • Hybrid, Sydney-based
