Role Overview

SolarWinds is hiring an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to support the ITSM business across APAC, including SolarWinds Service Desk SaaS and Web Help Desk on-premises solutions.

This role partners directly with the assigned Senior Account Executive to drive both new-logo acquisition and expansion across Mid Market and Enterprise accounts in the region. The ISR is responsible for building pipeline through targeted outbound prospecting into net-new organizations, while also identifying expansion opportunities within the existing SolarWinds customer base that have not yet adopted Service Desk.

With over 300,000 customers globally, SolarWinds has a strong installed base across APAC. This creates a unique opportunity to introduce ITSM into accounts already using SolarWinds for observability, database, or infrastructure management. The ISR plays a critical role in identifying these entry points and creating qualified opportunities for the field.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that requires strong prospecting discipline, attention to detail, and close partnership with field sales, marketing, and channel teams across diverse APAC markets and buying motions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the assigned Senior Account Executive to drive consistent pipeline creation across the APAC territory.
  • Identify and prospect net-new organizations aligned to the ITSM ideal customer profile across Australia and priority APAC countries and verticals.
  • Engage existing SolarWinds customers to identify accounts that have not adopted Service Desk and create qualified expansion opportunities.
  • Execute outbound campaigns across phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate qualified meetings for both new-logo and expansion motions.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and convert them into actionable sales opportunities.
  • Conduct account research to understand organizational structure, regional footprint, technology environment, existing SolarWinds products, and ITSM use cases.
  • Schedule discovery calls, demos, and meetings for the Senior Account Executive.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of activity, pipeline, and opportunity progression in Salesforce.
  • Partner with marketing and channel teams to support regional campaigns, partner-led initiatives, and events.
  • Support APAC events, workshops, and partner activities to help generate pipeline.
  • Maintain disciplined follow-up and progression of early-stage new-logo and expansion opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in inside sales, SDR, or business development within SaaS or enterprise software.
  • Strong interest in building a long-term career in enterprise sales.
  • Proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound prospecting and lead qualification.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across diverse audiences.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Experience working across APAC markets or with multi-country territories is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across APAC and global teams.
