In partnership with the ADF and the Commonwealth, Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) provides aircraft maintenance and upgrades, component maintenance solutions, technical support, mission-critical infrastructure support and training on some of the most capable surveillance, command, control, and combat platforms in the world.
BDA is seeking a training Instructional Systems Designer who will provide the full spectrum of training support for the BDA Battlespace Communications System (BCS) training team located in Brisbane, Queensland.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Involvement in the Training Needs Analysis process
  • Conduct of the design and development of training artefacts
  • Development of innovative, relevant and engaging training solutions
  • Conduct of evaluations and update of training artefacts
  • SME support for instructors in their preparation and conduct of training
  • Effective engagement with customer representatives and subject matter experts.

To be successful you will have:
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of the full spectrum of training (essential)
  • Experience with the development of training in the defence environment (desirable)
  • Interpersonal skills to work in a multi-team environment.
