What You Will Get To Do:
The Insurance Solutions Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and administering insurance related services to corporate superannuation clients and employers (where applicable), members and beneficiaries
- Manage personal workflow to consistently meet service level agreements.
- Responsible for end-to-end Insurance application and Underwriting lodgement with Insurer and updates to accounts upon acceptance
- Claims pack preparation for members, following up of requirements and lodgement with Insurer & referral to trustee services team
- Protecting your super, Putting members interests first and Improving member insurance outcome updates for member accounts.
- Support and assist vulnerable clients as needed showing compassion and empathy.
- Improve system capability - Capture data, improve methods, share and increase knowledge.
What You Will Bring:
- 1–2 years’ experience in the superannuation industry or a similar role
- RG146 certification preferred
- Solid understanding of superannuation processes and legislation
- Basic knowledge of insurance within superannuation
- Proactive, positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
- Resilient and adaptable under pressure
- Commitment to maintaining and expanding product and process knowledge
- Strong subject matter expertise in systems, legislation, and insurance industry trends
- Proven ability to build effective internal and external relationships
