The opportunity
As an Insurance Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact for QBE, assisting a wide range of customers and partners with insurance queries. This entry-level call centre role is ideal for someone eager to learn, enjoys customer interaction, and is looking to build a career in insurance. Please see more information about QBE careers here .
This is a full time position on a 5-day rotating roster between 8am-8pm Monday to Friday, with Saturdays currently on a voluntary basis. At QBE we are focused on supporting our team members to reach their full potential. We provide 4 weeks full time training on commencement, with ongoing support from Senior and Specialised Leaders.
Your new role
A day in the life of an Insurance Specialist may look a bit like this:
- Sell QBE products and services by delivering excellent customer service and fostering great relationships with customers via inbound calls.
- Deliver exceptional help to our customers and partners by managing inbound queries, on average 30-50 calls per day.
- Learn about our insurance portfolios and various partnerships to build strong relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the growth and retention of business by providing timely and effective solutions that adhere to QBE guidelines.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced customer facing environment, where you will be learning and developing from day 1. Previous experience in a customer service or sales role will be an advantage. You will also have…
