Position: Integration Engineer

Location: Sydney (Columbia Way, Norwest)

About the Role

As an Integration Engineer you will be responsible for installing and maintaining computer systems and networks, aiming for the highest functionality. The goal is to build computer systems to our Clients needs and specifications. Our office is based in Norwest, Sydney and is an on-site only position.

What You’ll Do

As the Integration Engineer you will be accountable for but not limited to:

  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc)
  • Install images from USB and using SCCM or external networks
  • Check computer hardware (HDD, mice, keyboards etc) to ensure functionality
  • Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to Clients specifications
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc)
  • Maintain records/logs of machine/devices that require Asset Tag recording
  • Maintain and Update Documentation as required internally and by Clients
  • Liaise with Warehouse to ensure optimized delivery of end product.

What You’ll Bring

A successful Integration Engineer must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. The ideal candidate will also have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, along with exceptional attention to detail and time management. Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles, coupled with either a Certification as Integration Technician or IT managed services experience will be an advantage.
