The Reserve Bank of Australia is looking for Integration Specialists who will manage and provide expert services in relation to the strategy, plan, design, build, test, change implementation and lifecycle management of integration services used at the Bank. In this role, the Integration Specialist will ensure that the Bank's highly available, cyber security controls and data protection requirements are met throughout the 365 days, 24 x 7 business operation.
About the role
- Deliver capital projects and BAU enhancements that require integration technologies to interconnect and exchange information between external parties and internal users and business systems.
- Provide expert services in relation to the integration technologies selection and roadmap, plan, design, build, test and change implementation of integration services used at the Bank.
- Perform BAU lifecycle maintenance support of all integration services/technologies used at the Bank, including obsolescence management, system upgrades, patching, contract/support renewals, assets management, health check remediations, problems/issues management, as well as addressing cyber security vulnerabilities and high availability performance requirements in a proactive and timely manner.
- Provide strong expertise to uplift the resilience and cyber security control of the integration services used by business systems to ensure operational stability is met throughout the 365 days, 24 x 7 business operation and best practice in high availability and security implementation.
- Participate in a 3rd line incident response for operational issues related to the B2B file transfer services, with applied ITIL and IT Service Management best practice.
- Provide integration design consultancy to achieve inter-systems connection, security, reliability, availability and accountability for information exchanged throughout the Bank.
- Assist with the data collection for asset management, audit, operational and management insight reports and strategic initiatives.
- Maintain the Centre of Excellence for integration, including artefacts for maintaining and uplifting intellectual property, accurate up-to-date technical knowledge and documentation pertaining to the Bank's integration technologies and end-to-end infrastructure.
- Ensure a Bank wide culture of applying integration best practice guidelines and governance through consultation, collaboration, coaching, advice, guidance and knowledge sharing with peers across IT and business staff.
About you
- Strong programming and scripting experience in JAVA, PowerShell, Puppet, Ansible, Perl, Python, XML, XPATH, JMS, MS SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripts.
- Solid knowledge and hands on experience in the design, build, administration, maintenance and support of software technologies, such as IBM Sterling B2B, Connect Direct, SWIFTNet, IBM WebSphere Suites (BPM, ACE, ODM, MQ), WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss, MuleSoft, microservices, Puppet, Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases.
- Deep understanding and experience in various data transmission protocols, including Connect Direct, FTP/SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, SOAP/REST, SMTP and SWIFTNet, TCP/IP, UDP.
- Experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure.
- Highly competent using Windows/Linux operating systems, MSSQL and Oracle databases.
- Proven hands-on experience with complex enterprise systems migration, software upgrades, security patching, asset inventory registry, SSL certificate installation and renewal, audit traceability, monitoring alerts, performance analysis and tuning, and cyber security controls administration.
- Engage, collaborate and communicate effectively with peers and senior management.
- Mature approach to troubleshooting problems, root cause analysis, locating faults quickly, restoring service and applying permanent corrective actions.
- Solid understanding of the use of firewall, load-balancer, Active Directory, LDAP, virus scan, PGP cryptography and SSL infrastructures in the end-to-end solution design.
