Your Impact:

Join Entain’s Internal Audit team in Australia & New Zealand, working closely with senior leaders while gaining broad exposure across the Group. You’ll deliver audits, provide independent assurance over controls and processes, and partner with teams to implement improvements that drive meaningful business outcomes.

As part of a highly skilled, collaborative global function, this role also offers opportunities to contribute to audits beyond ANZ, providing valuable international exposure that supports long-term leadership progression within a dynamic, global organisation.

A Day in the Life:

Based in Sydney or Brisbane, this role offers a flexible hybrid model that balances in-office collaboration with the freedom to work from home, supporting wellbeing and helping you perform at your best. The role is highly varied and includes travel within Australia and internationally, creating unique opportunities for collaboration and business-wide impact. Here’s a snapshot of your day:

  • Deliver assigned audits across ANZ from planning to reporting, including fieldwork and follow-up.
  • Conduct audit testing through document reviews, data analysis, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Produce clear, high-quality reports with actionable, value-adding recommendations.
  • Partner with business and specialist teams to design and implement remediation plans.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations, compliance, and governance requirements.
  • Support multiple projects, including ad hoc, strategic, and occasional Group-wide audits.
  • Develop key stakeholder relationships to drive control improvements across the Group.

Your Strengths:

  • Solid operational audit experience, ideally in relevant large-scale organisations.
  • Professional qualification (CIIA, CISA) or commitment to work towards one.
  • Strong understanding of risk, control, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong commercial acumen with practical application of audit insights.
  • Excellent analytical and numeracy skills, with confidence working with data.
  • Clear, concise communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative, self-motivated professional who thrives working autonomously.
