Role Summary:
As an Internal Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key customers and trade organizations. You will play a crucial role in understanding market trends, customer alliances, and purchase agreements while driving sales growth. Additionally, you will gain a deep understanding of company operations to enhance sales effectiveness and coordinate efforts with internal teams and third-party sales partners.
Responsibilities:

Drive bookings to meet or exceed assigned sales targets.

Maintain regular, strategic communication with key customers in your assigned territory.

Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with regional sales objectives.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their concerns related to proposals, deliveries, repairs, quality, and warranty claims are addressed.

Educate customers on product quality, features, and applications using company marketing materials.

Collaborate with application engineers, customer service, and manufacturing teams to meet customer needs.

Maintain organized records, including reports, quotes, expenses, and sales data.

Demonstrate financial acumen to support solution selling, including discussions on return on investment.

Work independently while effectively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Execute other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements:

Strong knowledge of pumps, mechanical seals, or other related equipment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Industry experience in oil & gas, power, paper, or chemical sectors, with familiarity with API 610 Standard.

Skilled in product demonstrations, business writing, and delivering professional presentations.

Ability to lead root cause failure analysis and effectively communicate findings.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience in leading meetings, setting agendas, and driving follow-up activities.
Preferred Experience & Skills:

Sales experience with rotating equipment.
-
Training in sales techniques, negotiation, and business finance.
-
Project management experience is an advantage.
