About this role
As an Investment Associate, you will be responsible for supporting infrastructure investments across Australia and New Zealand.
In this role, you will provide critical support across the investment lifecycle including:
Financial Analysis: Assist in evaluation new infrastructure investment opportunities, including performing complex financial modelling, valuation and sensitivity analysis
Due diligence: Supporting the team in conducting thorough due diligence, including commercial, operational, financial / tax and legal reviews
Investment Memos: You will assist in the preparation of investment memos, presentations and reports to support decision-making processes
Deal execution: You will provide support during the deal execution process, including documentation and coordination with advisors
Portfolio Management: You will assist in the ongoing monitoring and performance tracking of portfolio assets (including value creation initiatives)
Investor Relations: You will support the preparation of investor presentations, quarterly updates and annual reports
Required Experience:
2-years plus of experience in infrastructure investments, investment banking or management consulting
Previous experience working on infrastructure investments (e.g. energy / renewables, transportation, utilities, digital) is highly desirable
Strong financial modelling skills and experience with valuation techniques (DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions)
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
