Perpetual Group is an ASX-listed company (ASX:PPT) headquartered in Sydney, Australia, currently consisting of 11 leading brands across three distinct businesses: Asset Management, Wealth Management and Corporate Trust.  

An exciting opportunity to be part of the Wealth Management Division with a focus on communicating the Perpetual Private (PP) investment offering to our advisers and clients and supporting the creation and ongoing maintenance of investment content and collateral.

About the Role

Join our dynamic team at Perpetual Private! As an Investment Associate, you will:

  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of financial markets, the wealth management industry and investment themes.

  • Coordinate and deliver communication throughout the business of current PP research initiatives, recommendations and investment related views and decisions.

  • Collate and maintain client presentations and tender material to explain and articulate the PP Investment Research philosophy and process, asset allocation, risk profiles, portfolios and fund structures.

  • Assist in the delivery and articulation of investment related content for ongoing client transition and servicing meetings.

  • Working with advisers on the implementation of investment related advice and client portfolios and advisory team by providing information to respond to client investment queries.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • An appropriate undergraduate degree (commerce, economics, business, finance) and attainment or progress towards relevant investment post-graduate qualifications (eg CFA, Masters of Finance, MBA)

  • 1-3 years’ experience in wealth and investment related roles

  • Understanding of portfolio theory, the range of investment markets and financial instruments

  • Experience with data tools and databases, (eg Factset, Morningstar Direct)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail, accuracy and presentation skills

  • Strong numeric, modelling and analytical skills
