Investment Banking Analyst - Real Assets - Australia

Job Description
As an Analyst in the Investment Banking coverage team, you will be a key contributor, and on occasion leader, of work streams in the group's transaction execution, marketing and client coverage initiatives, as well as playing a part in driving the culture, capabilities and overall strategy of the business. We are looking to hire roles within the Real Assets team.
Job responsibilities

• Participate in the \"full cycle\" of transactional execution including preparing marketing pitches, reviewing and formulating financial analysis, preparing and presenting internal and client presentations
• Play a leadership role in implementing the execution function including working with, and supporting, associates as well as assisting more senior bankers
• Strengthen your analytical, modelling, research and writing and presentation skills and demonstrate the ability to become a senior officer of the bank over time
• Be knowledgeable about the global and Australian sectors and its participants and will collaborate closely with colleagues across JP Morgan's global platform as well as the Australian product groups
• Be highly enthusiastic about J.P. Morgan's mission and be driven and committed to its success
• Work with the broader team of over 100 Analysts and Associates across the APAC region, you will be involved real-time in transactions that may include travel

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Prior work experience in investment banking / finance related sectors and an awareness of the products and services provided
• A well-rounded academic background from a top tier educational institution.
• Strong financial modelling skills
• A general understanding of the M&A and capital markets transaction cycle and processes involved
• Impeccable communication details with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other product groups
• Proactive, highly motivated, and committed with the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively
