Summary of the role/ Scope:

The Invoice to Pay Transformation Manager plays a critical role in driving process excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement within the shared services organization. This role supports the development, implementation, and optimization of Invoice to Pay processes, working closely with global process expert, GBS Operations and business stakeholders.

A key focus is to ensure alignment with global standards, facilitate the transition to future-state service models, and contribute to major ERP transformation initiatives. The Process Transformation Manager enables consistency, efficiency, and performance through strong process governance, stakeholder engagement, and project support.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive transformation projects across the I2P value chain (invoice receipt, validation, approvals, payments, issue resolution) to streamline operations, reduce cost, and improve cycle time.
  • Collaborate with the Process Expert/ Lead, Global Process Owner, and key stakeholders to ensure cross-functional alignment, define KPIs and SLAs for the I2P process
  • Monitor process performance, and drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
  • Maintain and update global process documentation, ensuring consistency with standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with IT and Finance Operations to deploy digital solutions (e.g., OCR, RPA, AI, AP workflow tools, ERP enhancements) to drive automation and reduce manual effort.
  • Track and manage project deliverables, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business goals.
  • Act as a subject matter resource, providing guidance to process users and driving process maturity across teams.
  • Lead change management efforts, build stakeholder buy-in, and ensure smooth adoption of new processes and tools across regions and functions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or relevant Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in Procure-to-Pay or Invoice-to-Pay functions, with at least 3 years in a transformation or process improvement role.
  • Deep understanding of I2P processes, systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, Basware, etc.), and related best practices.
  • Proven track record of leading process improvement or transformation programs in complex, global environments.
  • Experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, ARIS) and improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; able to influence across levels and functions.
  • Experience with Shared Services or Global Business Services operating models.
  • Familiarity with Intelligent Automation technologies (RPA, AI, ML in AP processes).
