The role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate IT Administrator to join our talented team, managing and improving internal IT systems across our global operations. You’ll provide hands-on support, maintain secure and efficient systems, and ensure a seamless technology experience for all employees - whether they’re working on-site, hybrid, or remotely.
You’ll take the lead in introducing IT improvements that enhance productivity, reliability, and security. This is a hands-on role where your technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and proactive approach will directly shape how technology supports our people worldwide
What you’ll do:
- Respond to internal IT support requests from all employees across global time zones
- Manage and implement ISO 27001 standards, maintaining compliance and security documentation
- Oversee internal tooling, systems integration, and technology projects that improve processes and enhance automation
- Support employees with hardware and software needs, ensuring reliable access and smooth user experiences, including onboarding and offboarding
- Maintain and monitor internal environments including Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking infrastructure
- Administer systems and support across Windows, Mac, and Linux operating environments
- Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and software licensing/subscription renewals
- Troubleshoot hardware, network, and application issues, actively improving performance and reliability
- Support cloud and virtualised environments (Hyper-V, and ideally Azure or AWS)
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, assets, and configurations
What you’ll bring:
- 3-5+ years’ experience in IT helpdesk, internal IT, or managed service environments
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a relevant technical discipline
- Sound understanding of:
- Windows Server (2022/ 2025), Windows 11, macOS, and Linux
- Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS/DHCP, VPNs
- Endpoint management (e.g. Intune, VOIP (zoom phone), laptops, printers, and WAPs)
- Hardware management of physical servers, networking equipment, and storage (NAS/SAN, iSCSI)
- Virtualisation (Hyper-V, clustering) and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)
- Advanced troubleshooting skills with a proactive, research-driven problem-solving approach
- Excellent communication, organisation, and documentation skills
