The IT Application Support Analyst supports alignment of Business and IT objectives, identify opportunities for process advancement leveraging technology, support creation of business capability and technology projects, translate business capabilities into function requirements, and work with business stakeholders and IT delivery teams to develop, test and deploy solutions.

                                                                                                                                       

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support alignment of strategic and tactical business objectives with corresponding IT objectives by supporting the business stakeholders and enterprise IT colleagues

  • Support business risk management, regulatory compliance and audit remediation activities

  • Identify opportunities for process advancement leveraging technology

  • Map business objectives and capability needs specific business functions and processes

  • Conduct discovery and documentation for business and IT specific processes

  • Map business process flows, including all critical data elements (e.g. supplier, input, process, output, customer)

  • Translate business capabilities and process designs into function requirements including stakeholder review and sign-off on the requirements

  • Work with relevant stakeholders and IT colleagues to develop, test and deploy solutions that meet business capability needs and ensure successful achievement of scope, cost, schedule, quality, adoption and value outcomes

  • Participate in development of solution training material and execution of change management activities

  • Maintain relevant data attributes of solution in the Service now / CMDB

  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery efforts

  • Support utilization of IT-internal governance processes

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Analysis or support related roles

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (SQL, Data Lake)

  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Experience with ERP support and processes (e.g. Pronto software, iScala Epicor software / Chris 21 Frontier software)

  • Experience in the use of Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies

  • Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Project Management (e.g., PMP) are a plus

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment meeting challenges and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
