Protiviti is a global business consulting firm composed of experts specialising in advisory, risk and assurance services. We help clients solve problems in finance, operations, technology, governance, risk, and compliance. Our highly trained, results-oriented professionals serve clients in the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Middle East and provide a unique perspective on a wide range of critical business issues.

Our culture prides itself on nurturing talent through mentorship and providing opportunities for continuous learning. With us:

  • You'll tackle diverse challenges that enrich your skills.
  • You'll collaborate with thought leaders who are eager to share their knowledge.
  • You'll enjoy perks that support work-life balance and personal development.

What You'll Do:

As a key member of the IT Audit & Assurance team, Senior Consultants will have direct, client-facing and internal engagement responsibilities. Their primary role is to lead the delivery of high-quality technology assurance internal audits for a diverse portfolio of clients from various industry sectors.

  • Scoping and Planning: Identify and evaluate complex technology risks, including cybersecurity, cloud, data governance, privacy, and emerging topics. Design robust testing procedures and engagement terms of reference or statements of work.
  • Delivery Management: Lead the end-to-end execution of technology assurance internal audit reviews, such as ITGC, cybersecurity, data governance, and privacy assessments, aligned with the Internal Audit Plan.
  • Technical Reporting: Draft high-quality, impactful reports for management, providing pragmatic recommendations to address identified findings.
  • Engagement Management: Oversee engagement timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Business Development: Support Managers, Directors, and Managing Directors in identifying opportunities for new clients or additional engagements with existing clients. Contribute to drafting proposals and expanding client relationships.
  • Coaching and Development: Mentor and coach Consultants, review their work papers, and foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

What We're Seeking:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in technology assurance, IT audit, technology risk, or internal audit, preferably within a professional services environment.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Accounting, Audit, or a related field.
  • Proven experience delivering a range of assurance engagements, including cybersecurity reviews, data governance and privacy reviews, ITGC assessments, generative AI, and third-party risk management.
  • Strong understanding of frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, and ISO 27001, or other relevant technology, assurance, or risk management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard data analytics and technology enablement tools (e.g., Alteryx, SQL, generative AI) is highly valued.
  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) is highly preferred. Additional certifications such as CRISC, CISM, or CISSP are a significant plus.
