About the Role

The IT Change and Release Manager, reporting into the Head of IT Operations & Service Delivery is responsible for managing and improving IT change and release processes to minimise risk and disruption to business operations, ensure compliance, and support business priorities.

We are open to the successful candidate being based in any major Australian city (Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney) and provide a hybrid working environment.

Key Responsibilities

This role develops and maintains policies, oversees the planning and execution of software and infrastructure releases, and ensures compliance with governance requirements.

The manager chairs the Change Advisory Board (CAB), assesses risks, and drives continuous improvement in collaboration with IT and business teams.

Key requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant technology certifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in IT change/release management

  • Strong knowledge of ITSM platforms (preferably ServiceNow), ITIL, and DevOps tools

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
