About ROLLER

ROLLER isn’t your average SaaS company. We operate globally across 30+ countries, powering millions of real-world experiences in the leisure and attractions industry. What we build doesn’t just live on a screen. It shows up in busy venues, peak weekends, and unforgettable moments for guests.

Our mission is simple but ambitious: help operators run better businesses while creating great guest experiences. That means solving complex, real-world problems across ticketing, point of sale, self-service, memberships, kiosks, and digital waivers, all at meaningful scale.

Just as importantly, it’s the people. We’re a team of 300+ smart, grounded, and genuinely passionate humans working across the globe. We care about quality, ownership, and doing work we’re proud of, without taking ourselves too seriously.

We’re growing fast, aiming high, and building something that matters. If you want to work on real problems, with real customers, alongside people who care deeply about their craft and impact, ROLLER is a great place to do it.

Why You'll Enjoy This Role!

🚀 You’ll own real outcomes, not just tickets - This isn’t a role where you’re stuck in a reactive queue. You’ll lead automation projects, drive system improvements, and shape how IT operates at a global SaaS company.

🛠️ You’ll work with a modern, best-in-class stack - From Entra ID and CrowdStrike to Google Workspace and the Atlassian suite, you’ll get hands-on experience with the tools that serious engineering teams actually use.

💡 You’ll have the autonomy to build and improve - We trust our people to identify problems and drive solutions. If you see a better way to do something, you’ll have the space and support to make it happen.

🌱 You’ll be part of a team that genuinely invests in its people - You’ll work alongside experienced infrastructure engineers, get exposure across every team in the business, and be set up to grow your skills well beyond the day-to-day.

Why You Want To Work With Us!

❤️ Loved by Customers - ROLLER is consistently highly rated on Capterra and G2, and trusted by leading operators worldwide. That doesn’t happen by accident. Customer obsession isn’t a value on a wall here, it’s embedded in how we prioritise, build, and measure success.

🏆 A Great Place People Choose to Stay - We’ve been Great Place to Work certified across multiple regions for several years running. That reflects a culture that values trust, autonomy, and growth, and an environment where high standards and psychological safety coexist.

💸 Competitive Package & Real Career Growth - We offer competitive compensation and benefits aligned to the level of ownership we expect. As ROLLER scales, so do the opportunities. People grow here by taking on bigger problems, broader scope, and greater responsibility. Progression is driven by impact and capability, not tenure, and strong performance is recognised and rewarded.

Why This Role Matters

We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and tech-savvy IT Engineer to join us at our Sydney office (with flexibility to work from home 1 day per week). In this hands-on role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting our fast-growing team and the technology that powers ROLLER’s global operations.

As the first line of IT support, you’ll ensure our internal systems run smoothly, secure our tech infrastructure, and enable teams across the business, from Engineering, Product, Finance, and Sales, to thrive. You’ll gain exposure to Azure AD/Entra ID, and a wide range of SaaS tools, working closely with experienced Engineers who have build a world-class platform.

If you’re someone who loves solving problems, improving processes, and enabling others through tech, this role is for you!

This is a hybrid role, required 4 in-office days at our brand new Sydney office to support our growing Sydney-based team.

What You'll Do
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees needing ICT support in the Sydney region, troubleshooting and assisting with technical issues related to hardware, software, or infrastructure
  • Respond to and resolve (or escalate) service desk tickets in a timely and efficient manner
  • Build and update a comprehensive knowledge base to reduce repeat issues and empower self-service
  • Procure, configure, manage, and deploy new hardware and software for new hires, including updating the IT asset register.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure engineers to lead system federation, and infrastructure automations.
  • Evangelise a CLI-based approach to system administration, managing tools like Entra ID, Google Workspace and the Atlassian Suite.
  • Extend employee lifecycle automation to cover Mobile Device Management, hardware provisioning, and security controls in services like Crowdstrike.
  • Maintain and enhance a preventative maintenance schedule to reduce downtime
  • Identify, own and drive system improvements and lead small-medium-scale implementation projects
  • Perform other tasks as directed to support business and technical operations

About You
  • You have a high appetite for Technology and AI and a natural curiosity for how it can transform your work. You’re comfortable using AI tools to automate repetitive 'busy work,' freeing you up to focus on high-impact work.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar IT support role within a high-growth environment
  • You’re passionate about technology and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a logical approach to solving problems
  • You come with an automate first mentality leveraging your experience using powershell, python or typescript to build integrations between systems for IT.
  • Hands on experience using CLI tools to administer Microsoft Azure/Entra and/or Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with RBAC and GBAC concepts for access provisioning and access reviews.
  • Remediation of workstation vulnerabilities and potential risk mitigation and resolution.
  • Solid understanding of mobile device management (MDM), and IT infrastructure
  • Working knowledge of ITIL or other IT support frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
  • Self motivated, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working 4 days on-site in our Sydney Office, with flexibility for occasional after-hours support

We believe AI is a career-defining inflection point. ROLLER is a fast adopter of new technology like AI, and every team member is empowered to own their learning and use the latest tools to supercharge their impact. We’re looking for candidates with the proficiency and curiosity to embrace AI and technology — not just as a technical skill, but as a core competency to help us achieve big goals.

Perks!
  • You'll get to work on a category-leading product that customers love in a fun, high-growth industry! Check our Capterra and G2 reviews.
  • Engage in our 'Vibe Tribe' - led by our team members; you can contribute to company-wide initiatives directly. Regular events and social activities, fundraising & cause-related campaigns...you name it. We're willing to make it happen!
  • Team Member Assistance Program to proactively support our team's health and wellbeing - access to coaching, education modules, weekly webinars, and more.
  • 16 weeks paid Parental Leave for primary carers and 4 weeks paid Parental Leave for secondary carers.
  • Work with a driven, fun, and switched-on team that likes to raise the bar in all we do!
  • Individual learning & development budget plus genuine career growth opportunities as we continue to expand!
