About the Role

MSS Security is looking for an experienced IT Service Desk Analyst who enjoys solving problems, delivering outstanding customer service and keeping people connected. Based within our Operational Performance & IT team, you will be the first point of contact for IT support across the business. From troubleshooting technical issues and supporting Microsoft environments to managing hardware, software and IT assets, no two days are the same.

This is a hands-on role where you will work independently while collaborating closely with the broader IT team to ensure our systems continue to operate efficiently.

A Day in the Life

Your day could include:

  • Providing Level 1 and Level 2 IT support via phone, email and helpdesk tickets

  • Troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues

  • Logging, tracking and resolving support requests within agreed service levels

  • Setting up new users, devices and system access

  • Managing IT assets, equipment and inventory records

  • Liaising with vendors and suppliers to coordinate repairs and purchases

  • Supporting office technology and ensuring users receive timely assistance

  • Working closely with the wider IT team on continuous improvements and projects

About you:

You bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and the confidence to work independently while knowing when to seek support. You will also have

  • Demonstrated' experience in an IT Service Desk or IT Support role

  • Have strong Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 knowledge

  • Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users

  • Exceptional organisational skills to manage competing priorities

  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Full Australian working rights

  • Willingness to undergo a National police check and other pre-employment checks
