SMEC ANZ | Sydney (North Sydney Office)

We’re looking for a Junior Advisor, Talent Acquisition to join our growing ANZ TA team, supporting recruitment across SMEC Australia & New Zealand.

This is a great opportunity for someone with 1–2 years’ experience in recruitment who’s ready to deepen their end‑to‑end TA exposure within a complex, professional services environment.

What you’ll be doing
  • Support end‑to‑end recruitment across professional and technical roles within SMEC ANZ
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver a positive hiring experience
  • Manage job postings, candidate screening, interviews, offers and onboarding coordination
  • Build talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and engagement
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data and reporting in Workday
  • Ensure a consistent, inclusive and high‑quality candidate experience
What we’re looking for
  • 1–2 years’ experience in an internal or agency recruitment role
  • Strong stakeholder communication and organisational skills
  • A curiosity for learning TA best practice and workforce trends
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience with ATS / HR systems (Workday experience a plus)
  • A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in people and careers
