We’re looking for a Junior Graphic Designer who wants more than just a seat behind a screen. If you're keen to create visual content that doesn’t just look good—but *feels right* for real clients, live events, and national brand campaigns—this might be your next move.

Why Join ExpoCentric?

At ExpoCentric, we design and deliver award-winning exhibition stands, brand experiences, and immersive activations across Australia and Asia. We’re a fast-moving, high-impact creative agency with offices in Sydney and Manila. Our work turns blank spaces into environments people remember—and our team thrives on creativity, precision, and that satisfying *“wow”* moment.

We’re growing our in-house creative team and looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to help us bring content to life across social, web, print, and real-world events. This is not your typical 9–5. It’s a chance to be on the ground where stories are happening—at installs, bump-ins, and major expos—while also shaping our digital brand voice.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Creating content for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Designing brochures, case studies, branded merch, digital ads, and sales tools
  • Collaborating on eBooks, blog graphics, and website content
  • Capturing and editing photos/video during live events and onsite activations
  • Supporting a content library with the Digital Asset Management system
  • Engaging in warehouse walk-throughs, bump-ins, and team brainstorms
  • Applying your visual skills to real-world brand campaigns that actually go live

What You’ll Need

  • 1–3 years of design experience (agency or in-house)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Strong sense of typography, colour, layout, and visual hierarchy
  • Portfolio that shows clean, creative, brand-aligned work
  • A curious mind and the willingness to ask the right questions
  • Clear communication and openness to feedback
  • (Bonus) Skills in After Effects / Premiere Pro
  • (Bonus) Confidence with a camera or willingness to learn
  • (Preferred) Driver’s license for local event access

The Vibe & Culture

We’re collaborative, high-performing, and proud of the work we ship. We balance polish with practicality, and we value people who speak up, experiment, and want to grow. We celebrate feedback, smart judgement, and those who support the team—not just the task.

What Happens Next

  1. Apply with your CV and portfolio
  2. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a quick video interview
  3. Selected candidates will complete a short design task
  4. Top candidates will meet our Head of Design and CMO
  5. Finalists may have a round with our CEO for cultural alignment
  6. Offer, start date, onboarding—let’s go!

What you need to know about the Sydney Tech Scene

From opera to comedy shows, the Sydney Opera House hosts more than 1,600 performances a year, yet its entertainment sector isn't the only one taking center stage. The city's tech sector has earned a reputation as one of the fastest-growing in the region.
