Junior Marketing Director — Hefty.gg
Full-time hours | Initial 3–4 month contract | Potential to transition to a permanent role

We’re looking for a proactive, creative marketer to help grow Hefty.gg, bringing new users to the website and increasing subscriptions through community engagement, paid advertising and partnerships.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands online communities, can identify where our audience spends time and knows how to turn interest into sign-ups. The position starts with a 3–4 month contract, working full-time hours, with the potential to transition to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate with the Community Manager to help organic promotion for Hefty.gg in relevant forums, Reddit communities, Facebook groups and Discord channels, building relationships and engaging in ways that respect each community’s rules.
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns across Facebook, Reddit and other relevant platforms, including budgets, targeting, creative testing and optimisation.
  • Identify and approach relevant influencers and creators to develop partnerships and cross-promotion opportunities.
  • Develop sponsorship opportunities, giveaway ideas and promotional campaigns to grow users and subscriptions.
  • Create and coordinate marketing content across LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube and other relevant social channels.
  • Track campaign results, advertising spend, user acquisition costs and subscription conversions, using the findings to improve performance.
  • Work closely with the product team to understand Hefty.gg’s features and communicate their value to potential users.

What we’re looking for

  • Practical experience in digital marketing, community engagement and paid social advertising.
  • Familiarity with Reddit, Discord, Facebook groups and online gaming communities.
  • Experience managing go-to market strategies, advertising budgets and measuring campaign performance.
  • Experience in reward platforms a bonus.
  • Confidence reaching out to influencers, negotiating partnerships and coordinating promotions.
  • Strong copywriting skills and the ability to adapt messaging for different platforms and audiences.
  • A creative, organised and independent approach, with a clear focus on growing users and subscriptions.
  • An interest in gaming and an understanding of how to connect with gaming audiences.

The opportunity

You’ll take ownership of day-to-day marketing activity for Hefty.gg, with room to test ideas, build partnerships and directly influence the product’s growth.
