The role


This is a unique opportunity to join a pre-Series B FinTech. You will write automated tests to ensure product quality and apply testing processes for new and existing product features. A key part of your role will be reviewing requirements, specifications and technical design documents to bridge the requirements gaps.

You will work as part of a cross-functional team, with other QA Engineers, Product Managers, Software Engineers and designers, all striving to achieve product roadmap goals. 


Skills we’d love you to bring along


-Meticulous in your work, and passionate about automated testing

-Coding ability with Javascript

-The ability to consider every possible scenario during exploratory testing - you can spot bugs that others might not notice

-Review requirements, specifications, design and other related documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

-Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases using test management tools such as Qase

- Estimate, prioritise, and plan testing activities

- Experience building automated testing of Web/Mobile applications and HTTP APIs using Appium, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium and Postman

- Exceptional problem-solving skills in order to support the whole team

- Comfortable using various tools to investigate the root cause of issues and have worked with Jira (or other bug reporting tool) to communicate bugs effectively with engineers, PMs, and designers

-The appetite to work in a start-up to scale-up environment


Bonus Points

-Experience with observability tools like Sentry.io to track down issues

-Experience working with Typescript/ReactJS based projects

-Experience with react testing library
