Job DescriptionOur Enterprise Insights team powers audience growth through insight-led decision making. We partner with teams across Marketing, Content, and Consumer and Data Product to deliver a deep understanding of what drives our audiences. Our multidisciplinary team includes qualitative and quantitative researchers, strategic insights consultants, insights analysts and research operations specialists. Enterprise Insights also manages the infrastructure that supports insights at scale - think audience panels, data collection, knowledge-sharing platforms and visualisation and analysis tools.
As Research Executive you will provide direct support across quantitative, qualitative, strategic research and insights team operations. Your core focus will be supporting Insights team members, across quantitative & qualitative research, strategic insights and operations whilst playing a key role in the management of Nines consumer research panel and other bespoke insights communities.
What you’ll do;
Take ownership of key quantitative research operations and support end-to-end quantitative projects.
Execute technical research tasks including survey scripting, fieldwork management, data processing, and basic dashboard development.
Assist in managing and conducting our survey data collection using our consumer panels while ensuring high panellist engagement.
Contribute to the management and innovation of Nine’s research community, IdeaXchange.
Support in-house qualitative research projects, including participant recruitment and project administration.
Collaborate with diverse internal stakeholders (researchers, product managers, data engineers) on cross-functional initiatives.
Supporting and managing Enterprise Insights team operational functions including administration and managing project management platforms.
What you’ll bring:
Qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. psychology, marketing, economics, data science, analytics).
1-2 years of experience in a relevent field
An understanding of technical research aspects such as survey scripting/programming, data processing, analysis, and visualisation.
Strong numeracy and analytical thinking
Exposure to survey programming and data analysis.
Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Desirable:
Experience in media, market research, analytics, or UX research.
Exposure to questionnaire design and consumer research project management.
Experience using survey scripting software such as Qualtrics, or Confirmit.
Experience with statistics software (e.g., SPSS, Q, R) or exposure to dashboarding tools (e.g., Domo, Tableau, Looker, Data Studio) is highly regarded.
