Job Description

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our Retail Independents team! This role will develop local key accounts within the West and Northern metro and regional NSW suburbs, with a focus on maintaining positive relationships to drive negotiations and develop profitable joint business plans. This is a field-based hybrid role with 4 days in the field. Are you up for this challenge?

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop key accounts including Metcash and MSOs
  • Maintain relationships with key store stakeholders including buyers, merchandising and store managers
  • Implement sales strategies to support state growth and ensure all sales performance targets are delivered
  • Manage in-store product range and support category review workshops to optimise and maximise distribution and share of shelf
  • Support the implementation of promotional activities in-store

Qualifications

Working at JDE Peet’s is hands-on, giving you an opportunity to leave your mark. For this role as a Key Account Manager, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • You have 5 years’ experience working within the Retail Independents space
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You have strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate
  • You are able to work autonomously to deliver positive results
