Axis Communications is a global leader in network video, and we are looking for an ambitious, high-energy and resilient Key Account Manager for New Business to lead our business development accounts for Sydney. In this pivotal field-based role, you will be the driving force behind identifying, qualifying, and securing major new accounts within targeted industries.

You won't just be selling hardware. You will be acting as a trusted advisor, helping customers unlock the full value of Axis’s innovative ecosystem. This role involves heavy prospecting and overcoming resistance. So if you are a strategic ‘hunter’ who excels at business development and building relationships from the ground up, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

  • Drive New Business: Prospect and qualify new opportunities to open doors into accounts where Axis does not yet have a presence.
  • Strategic Growth: Develop and execute regional sales and business development plans to meet KPIs and exceed revenue targets.
  • Relationship Management: Build and sustain multi-level relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure long-term account success.
  • Consultative Sales: Apply a value-based, consultative approach to demonstrate the full potential of Axis’ innovative products and partner ecosystem.
  • Pipeline & Promotion: Manage accurate forecasting via Salesforce while representing Axis at trade shows, seminars, and industry events ro fruther business development goals.

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Significant sales experience in technical sales and business development, preferably within the IT or Security industry
  • Commercial acumen and a strong background in indirect sales models and solution-based selling
  • Technical literacy and proficiency in IP-based technologies, networking, and security hardware/software solutions
  • The ability to function efficiently in fast-paced environments with a focus on organized pipeline management and business development strategies
  • Readiness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally to support business objectives
