Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our Australian B2B team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategy, planning, operations and business development supporting the SMB business, with a focus on online channel.
As a KAM with a focus on online channels, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts and capitalising on new business opportunities mainly (but not only) through digital platforms. You will develop and execute strategies to drive growth, build strong relationships with key stakeholders (partners, online team, product teams), and contribute to the company's revenue targets.
Your expertise in online marketing, sales, and business development will be crucial in expanding our presence in the enterprise technology sector.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an online channel strategy tailored for the SMB market, collaborating with Samsung Online and Marketing teams to drive lead generation and conversion.

  • Utilise online tools and platforms to engage with customers, gather feedback, and enhance product offerings.

  • Identify and pursue business opportunities within your existing accounts in SMB market, building offerings for both digital and non-digital channels.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, and product) to ensure alignment and maximise business opportunities across existing SMB channels.

  • Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies, using data analysis to optimise online channel performance.

  • Foster strong relationships with partners, resellers, and stakeholders to drive business growth and identify opportunities for strategic partnerships.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in SMB account management, partner sales, or a similar sales/marketing role.

  • Strong knowledge of product with the ability to develop sales plans for Samsung products.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

  • Demonstrated ability to influence, mentor, and motivate project/team members in a positive, accountable, and collaborative manner.

  • Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams and building strong customer relationships.

  • High level of business acumen with exceptional communication skills across all levels of the organization.

The nature of this role and level of responsibility may require reasonable additional hours over and above 37.5 hours per week and may also require work outside of ordinary hours.
