More about the role

We’re looking for a Key Account Manager to join our NSW Trade Sales Team. In this role, you’ll drive sales growth, strengthen customer relationships, and maximise profitability across a region stretching from the Southern Highlands, out to the ACT, and along the lower south coast of NSW.

In the role, you will:

  • Manage and maintain customer relationships with Electrical Wholesalers and Contractors, including responsibility for supporting the project pipeline.
  • Work within a team environment to achieve individual and state sales targets.
  • Understand market segregation in order to maximise upon cross brand opportunities.
  • Provide suitable Lighting and Connected solutions to end users.
  • Manage and maintain the CRM system.
  • Attend customer events to promote the Signify Brand.
  • Establish high levels of customer partnership and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate effectively and efficiently with colleagues and departments.

  • Sales experience with a proven track record in achieving targets in a complex and challenging environment.
  • Ability to quickly develop meaningful client relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage well with employees at all levels of the organisation.
  • The ability to pursue commercial opportunities with energy and discipline and adapt to new market demands and opportunities.
  • A passion for client satisfaction is a must.
  • An ability to actively listen and effectively action a client’s requirements are a must.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems.
  • High levels of computer literacy.
  • A focused, results-driven, credible and professional nature.
  • Availability to travel regionally.
