Location: Remote, Australia is preferred, we are open to Singapore and Japan

Travel: This role requires frequent travel across the APAC region. (up to 50%)

As Director of Strategic Accounts, APAC, you will guide the expansion of Trimble's Field Systems business in the Asia-Pacific region. This role requires an experienced sales leader with a demonstrated ability to foster channel partnerships and build strategic relationships with major civil construction companies

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in sales and business development in the construction or technology industry, with a focus on the APAC region.

  • Proven ability to build and manage channel partnerships.

  • Strong track record of success in selling to and managing large, strategic accounts.

  • Deep understanding of the civil construction industry and its challenges.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Fluency in English and one or more APAC languages preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

What You Will Do:

  • Identify, recruit, and manage a network of high-performing channel partners across the APAC region. Provide partners with the necessary training, resources, and support to effectively sell and deliver Trimble's civil construction solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at large civil construction companies in the APAC region.

  • Develop and execute account plans to drive adoption of Trimble's solutions and achieve revenue targets.

  • Demonstrate and promote Trimble workflows and technology that tangibly benefit large and influential civil construction companies and their clients.

  • Advocate for technology adoption within the civil construction business community throughout APAC. 

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the APAC civil construction market. Collaborate with Trimble's product and marketing teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.

  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs in the APAC civil construction industry. Provide insights and recommendations to Trimble's leadership team.

  • This role does not have direct reports, however there is a requirement for a high degree of cooperation across the APAC sales organisation as well as Trimble globally and Trimble's distribution network. 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. This role involves cultivating a collaborative and accountable environment that supports high performance.

  • Achievement of regional revenue and growth targets, successfully recruiting and developing high-performing channel partners.

  • Increase market share and brand awareness for Trimble's civil construction solutions in the APAC region.

  • Drive customer satisfaction and retention.

Travel:

  • This role requires frequent travel across the APAC region. (up to 50%)

  • APAC = Asia Pacific encompassing countries from East Asia Southern Asia and Oceania.

Our Division:

Trimble Field Systems develops positioning and control products for earthmoving and paving machines in the construction and mining industries. These products utilize technologies such as GPS, optical total stations, lasers, and sonics. They are used in a variety of applications where accurate horizontal and vertical guidance is essential for machine operators.
