The Role

Kyndryl Japan Technology Services – Business Support Team Recruitment

In December 2022, Kyndryl Japan Technology Services launched the Business Support Team to expand opportunities for individuals with disabilities, as part of our commitment to Inclusion and Diversity. We are now looking to welcome new members as we expand the team.

New team members will play a vital role in supporting Kyndryl’s operations by leveraging their previous experience and career background. Responsibilities will be flexibly assigned based on each individual’s skills and strengths.

We are committed to creating an environment where everyone can thrive by considering individual disability characteristics and necessary accommodations. Each business team will have a dedicated mentor to provide guidance and support. If you encounter any difficulties in your work, you can consult with your mentor at any time. Additionally, we have a system in place for regular check-ins and consultations with specialized staff regarding health and daily life matters, even if they are not directly related to work.

Key Features

  • Tasks are not assigned by team, but individually, based on workload and capacity.
  • All tasks are performed collaboratively within teams—no one works alone.
  • Work is carried out according to manuals, which are also maintained and updated by team members.
  • Team meetings are held in person on office days and via Microsoft Teams when working remotely.
  • Communication with requesters is conducted via email or Teams chat; phone calls are rarely required.
  • Office attendance is generally twice a week, with specific days depending on assigned tasks.
  • There are no telephone answering duties.

Examples of Tasks

  • Data aggregation, analysis, and document creation using Excel
  • Document creation using Word mail merge
  • Monthly organization charts and structure diagrams using PowerPoint and Excel
  • Scheduling and managing meetings using Outlook (sending invites, rescheduling, updating participants)
  • Maintaining Outlook distribution groups and managing Teams access based on onboarding/offboarding information
  • Creating and maintaining internal websites using SharePoint
  • Data entry into internal systems
  • Supporting internal events
  • Routine tasks using Microsoft Office
  • Invoice processing support
  • Creating asset management labels
  • Creating cloud environment accounts for employee skill development
  • Publishing internal guides and communications


Who You Are

Education

  • High school diploma or above

Required Skills

  • Basic PC skills using Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Daily tasks are performed using Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
    (Experience with Teams or SharePoint is not required, as long as you are willing to learn and take on new challenges)
  • Experience working as part of a team
  • Fluent in Japanese

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., functions, pivot tables)
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, or web design

Work Style

  • Hybrid work environment (combination of remote work and in-office attendance)
