Knee Development Manager, (ANZ) is responsible for driving the portfolio strategy in the SPM field. The role synchronises sales and marketing efforts by providing technical expertise and clinical insights to drive adoption, and advocates for the needs of the field and customer upstream. The role requires outstanding communication, high cross-functional team collaboration, and coordination of marketing initiatives.
What will you be doing?
- Drive execution of the Knee Repair marketing strategy for ANZ through close collaboration with the field and customer.
- Deliver sales of Knee Repair products in line with budget.
- Spend time in field, ensuring contact is maintained/established with sales team and key customers.
- Conduct workshops at a state level, where required, to guide mapping of targets for focus solutions.
- Be the digital marketing ambassador for knee repair with a focus on linked in, building the email database and advocating for the SPM team to amplify digital marketing activities for knee repair.
- Support product training and provide comprehensive follow-up and support packages where appropriate for and in conjunction with the training department for internal and external customers.
- Complete segmentation, targeting and execution tracking for NPL and portfolio upgrades to drive profitable sales growth and overachieve budgets.
- Gather and document relevant market information including procedural trends and clinical evidence considerations through time in the field.
- Build a detailed awareness of competitive activity and communicate upstream and downstream.
- Monitor monthly sales results and gather information on key drivers of portfolio performance to feed back to marketing manager.
What will you need to be successful?
- Bachelors Degree – either business or biological sciences related preferred
- 3 + years in a marketing or sales role, preferably in the medical device or healthcare field.
- Expertise of customer journey for medical device sales, preferably as a sales rep. Some exposure to marketing activities, such as product launches, marketing plans, or market development preferred.
- Open to travel approx. 40-50%
