You'll be a part of our Knowledge Management team based in either Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the strategic adoption and integration of generative AI and other cutting-edge knowledge technologies across our legal practice groups.

As a Knowledge Management Lawyer, you’ll be at the forefront of legal innovation - supporting the development, rollout and adoption of digital tools that enhance legal service delivery, research, drafting and client engagement. You’ll work closely with lawyers, partners, and corporate services teams to embed technology into the way we work, helping to unlock efficiencies and deliver greater value to our clients.

As a Knowledge Management Lawyer (2-3 PQE), you will:

  • Collaborate with practice groups to identify high-impact use cases for generative AI and knowledge tools.

  • Customise and support the implementation of legal tech solutions.

  • Act as a key contact for AI-related queries and troubleshooting.

  • Develop user-friendly resources and training materials.

  • Support vendor relationships and evaluate new features and tools.

  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-practice collaboration.

  • Assist with client education, pitch preparation and tool demonstrations.
     

This is an 18-month fixed term, full-time opportunity. At Allens we have a hybrid working structure, typically 60% in the office and 40% from home. We would be happy to discuss any other flexible working arrangements that best support you.

About you
 

You will have:

  • Legal qualifications.

  • Experience in legal or professional services. 2-3 years PQE.

  • Familiarity with legal tech platforms (e.g. Lexis+, Westlaw Precision, CoCounsel, Contract Express).

  • Strong communication, project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Experience in training, change management or innovation.

  • A passion for innovation, continuous learning and legal technology.

  • A desire to learn, grow, network, mentor others.
