The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Support Engineer in our Health Information Systems division, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Providing technical support for all HIS products in Revenue Cycle Management and Clinical Productivity Solutions
- Collaborating with customers to understand their needs and ensure successful support and usage of our solutions
- Communicating to customers regarding issues, outages, maintenance
- Collaborating with third party vendors to successfully support the integration of our products with other systems
- Contributing to and supporting the business unit to achieve goals and objectives of the HIS Division’s Business plan
- Participating with a team of professionals in providing a high level of cohesive technical service in the above areas
- Participating in functional, regression and user acceptance testing
- Engage with L3 technical resources, providing analysis of issues, logs, findings for escalation
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role
From day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND at least three (3) years of technical support experience
OR
- High School Diploma/GED or other qualification in an IT related field AND at least three (3) years of database, network, server administration, or engineering experience
- Technical troubleshooting
- Understanding of technical systems operations, including installing, updating, monitoring, logging, etc
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle processes
- Functional knowledge of network, server and desktop operating systems
- Functional knowledge of LAN/WAN installation environments
- Functional knowledge of Linux and Unix operating systems
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent analytical, organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Highly motivated and dedicated to the goals of the overall organisation
- Capable of maintaining effective and professional customer relations in a fast-paced environment
- Team player and innovative problem solver
- Ability to work independently within a team of professionals
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in information technology or a related field from an accredited institution
- Industry knowledge of health care and/or health information systems (HIS) or health information management (HIM)
- Functional knowledge of XML, HL7, FHIR, JSON, REST
Work location: Remote
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic
Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
