JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Check the test samples, read the standards, work instructions, and instruction manual for the equipment. Arrange complex testing plans within the scope of responsibilities. Evaluates test performance and sample operation to properly evaluate test results. Promptly report abnormal test results to the supervisor and provide opinions and explanations as required.
  • Assist in the development of new testing capabilities, including but not limited to implementing testing methods in accordance with standard requirements, rationally using and adjusting testing equipment, participating in the design of new equipment and giving priority to automation functions to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Communicate with customers during setup and operation to ensure proper evaluation.
  • Serves as Project Lead for complex test programs as assigned.
  • Understand and be able to explain the specific testing standards and product technology within the scope of responsibility. Provide training for other laboratory personnel and clients. Exchange and share testing experience with other regions around the world.
  • Performs complex maintenance on designated test equipment and laboratory area.
  • Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.
  • Capable of completing other assigned tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • University Degree in science and engineering, 4 years work experience in related field of work.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high quality and exceptional customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully partner with Engineering and other Laboratory Personnel to complete projects in a timely manner with high quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new test capability.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze special testing needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor more junior laboratory staff.
  • Good English listening, speaking skills.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with customers.
  • Proven ability to be innovative and creative.
  • Desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite is a must.
  • Ability to incorporate automation into day-to-day testing.
  • Familiar with laboratory quality management system.
