Make your impact
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Aftercast production process by preparing castings for the next stage of manufacturing while ensuring production targets, safety standards, and operational requirements are consistently met.

What you’ll do

  • Prepare castings for the next stage of manufacturing while meeting production targets.
  • Safely operate overhead cranes, grinding equipment, and other foundry machinery.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures, SOPs, and reporting requirements.
  • Support production operations across various foundry areas as required.
  • Maintain efficient workflow, high-quality output, and strong safety performance in an onsite manufacturing environment.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in a general hand labour intense role
  • Experience in physically demanding, hands-on labouring or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in fettling and the operation of grinding, impact, and other foundry-related equipment is highly regarded.
  • Competency in overhead/KBK crane operation, including safe slinging and load handling practices.
  • Ability to interpret safety procedures, operating instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Physically capable of performing manual tasks, standing for extended periods, and working safely in PPE.
  • Previous foundry experience (e.g. Foundry Technician or Aftercast Operator) with the ability to learn new processes quickly.
  • Positive, adaptable team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
