Tasks:
- Legal research, analysis and application into real life situations within the business industry
- Drafting legal advices, preparing legal documents and engaging in communication ‒ written and verbal, with clients and other parties
- Drafting, assisting in and participating in creation of and/or delivery of legal, business, educational programs and activities
- Manage files delegated to you
- Manage insertion of Important Dates and reminders
- Assist in the management of the creation, implementation, review and support for all policies, processes, and documentation
- Work with each team member to create and document all company processes/systems to be used as a resource for future hires and to create greater operational efficiencies
- Assist other team members in projects, as needed.
- Ability to navigate our legal, operational and marketing platforms (Office 365, Mattero, Xero, Active campaign, Facebook and more) and assist other team members as necessary
- Supporting our team in its marketing and promotional activities
Requirements
About You:

- Finding and creating practical and effective solutions
- Self motivated with a positive attitude
- Completion of Australian Bachelor of Laws degree (or nearing completion)
- Experience working in law firms or other commercial businesses
- Good with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Own computer, mobile, internet service and subscription to Office 365
- Good with Mattero or other legal software is a big bonus
- Ability to set goals and develop achievable timelines to hit them
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Commitment to work 3 days per week for a 12 weeks period
