The group (Corporate Advisory)
Our award winning and market leading M&A group provides innovative solutions and project management for all aspects of both large-scale and smaller value corporate transactions and advises on a range of related corporate issues.
  
Recent Transactions our M&A practice have worked on include:

  • Sigma Healthcare on its proposed $35 billion reverse takeover and ASX listing of Chemist Warehouse.
  • Wesfarmers on its proposed $770 million sale of its Coregas business to Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation.
  • SG Fleet Limited on its proposed $1.2 billion take private by funds managed and advised by PEP by scheme of arrangement.
  • Vocus on its proposed $5.25 billion acquisition of TPG’s enterprise, government and wholesale fixed business.
  • QANTM Intellectual Property Limited on its acquisition by funds managed and advised by Adamantem Capital Management by scheme of arrangement.
  • CRH plc on its acquisition of Adbri Limited (previously Adelaide Brighton), together with current major shareholder, the Barro family by scheme of arrangement.
  • Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking on its $2.1 billion acquisition of Link Group by scheme of arrangement.

The role
Work with some of Australia’s top M&A partners on high-profile and market-leading private and public transactions.

  • Be part of a friendly and high-performing team in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
  • Learn and develop both legal and non-legal skills.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients.
  • Be remunerated at the top end of the market.  

About you

  • At least 5+ years’ experience in an M&A or Corporate Advisory practice.
  • Ambition to work on challenging matters at the top of the market.
  • Strong drafting and advice writing skills.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with a practical and commercial mindset.
  • An eagerness to create an exceptional experience for your clients.
