Disputes and Investigations 

Our Disputes and Investigations team specialise in assisting clients to navigate significant and complex commercial or corporate disputes in a strategic way. With a focus on our client’s commercial imperatives, we assist to identify and manage risk by providing strategies for both prevention and resolution, including litigation, arbitration, or other dispute resolution mechanisms. Many of the cases we handle involve multiple parties and complex legal or factual issues.

Our Disputes team is comprised of dedicated and hard-working lawyers that function as a true meritocracy. We focus on tailoring development programs and career goals to the capability of individual lawyers, rather than their traditional PQE level. We assist on a broad range of work including corporate and commercial disputes, regulatory investigations, class actions, commissions and inquiries, corporate misconduct, and other general disputes.

About you

As our successful candidate you should have demonstrated experience working on high profile and technically challenging transactions. You should be a motivated legal professional, looking to work in an environment where your contributions will be valued and recognised and rewarded accordingly.

In addition, you will have:

  • Three or more years’ post-admission experience with broad commercial litigation experience
  • A desire and the capacity to work on high profile and complex and meaningful matter
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with clients
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
