The Role
Our Sydney Tax team is seeking talented Lawyers (2+ PQE) and Senior Associates (5+ PQE) to join our market-leading practice. For many years, our team has achieved successful outcomes in high-value, complex tax disputes for leading Australian and multinational corporates and financial institutions.

Our lawyers are commercially savvy and results-driven, offering a unique blend of expertise across accounting, financial services, corporate law, and tax disputes.
Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of the team, you will have significant client exposure and play a key role in all aspects of tax disputes, risk assessment at all stages of tax controversy including strategy development, negotiations, and drafting.

Skills & Experience
To excel in this role, you will bring:
- Proven expertise across a range of tax matters, including disputes, gained in a (preferably top-tier) accounting or legal firm environment;
- A strong academic record;
- The ability to manage matters effectively, with a focus on both the big picture and the finer details;
- Strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities across multiple matters;
- A client-focused mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional service;
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to build strong client relationships and foster a positive team environment; and
- A driven and ambitious approach to taking your career to the next level.
For Senior Associates:
- A proven ability to lead matters, negotiations, and teams;
- A proactive approach to building and maintaining client relationships through networking and business development; and
- A genuine passion for mentoring and developing junior lawyers, including providing constructive and timely feedback to support their growth.
