How You'll Shape What's Possible:  
This role leads our legal and compliance function, ensuring we meet our contractual, regulatory, and risk obligations while supporting the business to move forward with confidence. You’ll guide the review, negotiation, and management of a wide range of commercial agreements, offering clear and practical advice that helps our people make informed decisions aligned with our risk appetite and delegation of authority. You’ll also play a key role in strengthening and evolving our legal and compliance frameworks, policies, and documentation so the organisation continues to operate with clarity, integrity, and assurance. 

  
How You’ll Make an Impact:  

• Lead the review and management of commercial, supplier, partner, and government contracts. 

• Provide clear, practical summaries of legal terms, risks, and business impacts. 

• Support and participate in contract negotiations with external parties. 

• Manage escalation and approval processes in line with delegation of authority. 

• Maintain and enhance legal and compliance frameworks, policies, templates, and playbooks. 

• Prepare and manage documentation required for internal and external compliance. 

• Monitor legislative changes and advise on required business updates. 

• Provide legal support across investigations, disputes, and general advisory matters. 

• Conduct or support compliance audits and deliver required reporting. 

• Manage relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies. 

• Contribute to the corporate risk register and recommend mitigation strategies. 

• Deliver training and promote awareness of compliance obligations and frameworks. 

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across legal and compliance processes. 

• Champion an information‑security‑first culture across the organisation. 

The Knowledge You Bring:  

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field 

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in commercial law or a related field, with a strong focus on contract management, negotiation, and risk management.  

• Experience in sectors relevant to the company (e.g., technology, finance, healthcare, manufacturing, mining, telecommunications) is preferred.  

• Proven track record in drafting, reviewing, and successfully negotiating various types of commercial contracts.
