Flying Bark Productions is a dynamic and innovative animation studio dedicated to pushing the boundaries of character animation and storytelling. We are working on exciting projects such as Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film, Netflix's Ghostbusters animated series and Stranger Things animated series, as well as our production Tales From Outer Suburbia by Shaun Tan.

As a Senior Layout Artist you will get to work closely with your supervisor, experiencing freedom by flexing your creative muscles and actively participating in the storytelling process through cinematography and helping to maintain the flow of the work.
About you:
- Minimum requirement of 6+ years production experience in 3D animated films and/or animated episodic;
- Strong sense of composition, cinematic camera work, animation timing and narrative storytelling;
- Experience and understanding of Maya in a production based environment;
- Knowledge of layout workflows, live action and CG camera lens information, camera rigs and cinematography;
- Ability to meet consistently meet deadlines;
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to share information in a team environment;
- Ability to take direction and be flexible and responsive to change;
- Ability to work independently as well as under direct supervision;
- Enthusiasm and passion for animation, cameras and cinematography.
