About the Role

As the Lead Data Analyst, you will play a key role driving impactful, data-driven insights that directly support Cashrewards’ business operations and strategic objectives. Your hands-on understanding of Cashrewards’ data architecture will enable you to deliver high-quality insights that align with business goals, providing actionable recommendations to key stakeholders and influencing decision-making across the organisation.


You will lead a team of data analysts, fostering a collaborative environment and a focus on execution. As a Lead Data Analyst, you will be integral in ensuring the team maintains smooth business as usual (BAU) operations while delivering on key initiatives. By providing clear direction and support, you will drive impactful outcomes that contribute to achieving key business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Your Focus

  • Lead and manage a team of analysts, specialising in data analysis and data visualisation, to support various teams across the business such as marketing, sales and product. Perform quality control of their work.
  • Partner with various business units like Sales, Product, Marketing and Retail Media to power their day-to-day decisions using data and insights.
  • Refresh, maintain and enhance existing reports and dashboards. Develop thorough understanding of the backend, metrics definitions, refresh process and business use case. Perform deep dive analysis on key problems identified across business units or in the weekly performance forum.
  • Build hands-on understanding of cashrewards’ data architecture. Maintain and seek to improve current systems, data pipelines and workflows
  • Leverage data to uncover insights, predict behaviour, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations that support Cashrewards’ strategic goals.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and analytical thinking across the business, including facilitating implementation and training of self-serve tools

About You

  • Highly desirable to have experience in a similar role either in consulting firm, fintech, marketing or consumer businesses. Also valuable to have proven experience of working on problems pertaining to Customer analytics, marketing analytics, Segmentation, Advertising/Retail Media or finance industry.
  • Skilled at stakeholder management and influencing others by understanding their challenges, identifying opportunities to create meaningful solutions, and effectively communicating insights in a way that resonates with different audiences to drive real impact.
  • Efficient problem-solving skills with a curious and creative mindset, able to tackle complex data challenges, adapt to new technologies and work independently in ambiguous environments to innovate and improve processes.
  • Extensive experience with Power BI, DAX, and SQL, with an ability to design scalable reports for large data sets, diagnose issues, and implement improvements for effective data visualisation.
  • Experienced in managing and leading a small team of analysts in a fast-paced environment and tracking sprint progress to drive efficient planning and delivery.
  • Advanced commercial acumen with the ability to understand business drivers, develop hypotheses, and independently create analytical solutions that support sustainable growth.
  • Highly desirable to have Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, e.g. Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering
