Role Summary:
As a member of the broader Data and AI Team (Analytics, Data Eng and AI) the Lead Data Analyst will lead the data analytics team in delivering data-driven insights and solutions. You will be responsible for team coordination, efficiency, development and liaising with stakeholders across the organization. You will also be responsible for delivering data analytics projects using current data analytics techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and coordinate the Data Analytics team's efforts, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of analytics solutions.
• Develop and maintain data analytics standards and best practices.
• Mentor and develop the skills and capabilities of the Data Analytics team and broader teams.
• Liaise with senior management to promote strategic analytics practices.
• Contribute to the data team's roadmap and strategic goals for analytics and the data platform.
• Actively contribute to projects and deliver advanced data solutions as needed
• Work with the AI team to deliver projects to the business.
Key Qualifications:
• Advanced SQL preferably with Databricks experience
• Python experience with data analysis
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Strong Data Visualisation skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong Experience with a cloud data warehouse (Databricks)
• Proficiency with data modelling techniques and tooling (DBT)
• Experience performing complicated analysis with a range of data sources
Reporting Relationships:
• The Lead Data Analyst will report to the Senior Manager Data & AI
