What we are looking for:
We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer with solution design skills to join our growing Data Cloud Practice. You will work closely with our blue-chip banking clients.
Essential skills/experience required:
- 7-10+ years of experience across data engineering, cloud computing or data warehousing
- Strong expertise in either Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift etc
- Solution Design/Architecture experience
- Experience leading technical projects.
- Strong cloud experience in either AWS, Azure or GCP
- Strong data modelling experience & ETL processes
- Strong expertise in SQL
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and influence technical decisions.
- Strong stake holder engagement skills/experience
Highly desirable:
- Consulting experience
- DBT
- Experience with Fivetran, Matillion
- CI/CD, Airflow experience
- Experience with Python
- Relevant certifications (SnowPro etc)
