We are looking for a Lead Designer and Trend Forecaster to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for owning and delivering trend-led, commercially successful collections that align with White Fox’s brand aesthetic.
- Lead seasonal trend forecasting across runway, street style, social media and competitors.
- Identify and interpret macro and micro trends relevant to the brand’s customer.
- Develop seasonal mood boards, key themes and collection frameworks for all collections.
- Establish cohesive colour palettes, print direction and fabrication stories that flow consistently across categories.
- Create original, on-brand designs aligned with customer profiles and brand DNA.
- Oversee the design process from initial concept through to handover.
- Lead and mentor the design team, managing timelines, planning and workload distribution to ensure critical path deadlines are met.
- Provide structured guidance and development to junior team members, elevating both creative output and execution standards.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in fashion design
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
- 4-6 years’ experience in fashion design within a fast-paced fashion environment.
- Strong understanding of global fashion markets and cultural trends.
- Ability to interpret creative inspiration into commercially relevant direction.
- Experience leading a design team, managing timelines and workload distribution.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, garment construction and fit.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work across multiple timelines.
- Commercially minded while maintaining creative integrity.
- Collaborative and able to influence cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
