Responsibilities:
- Guide Partners, Don't Direct Them: Lead discussions with integration partners where you won't have final say. You'll need to influence decisions through compelling storytelling, data, and relationship-building rather than authority. This requires patience and diplomatic skill, but is incredibly rewarding when you guide partners to solutions that work for everyone.
- Bridge Technical Worlds: Work across different technical ecosystems to create seamless experiences. Each partner platform has its own architecture, constraints, and capabilities that you'll need to understand deeply. You'll collaborate with engineering to find creative ways to deliver Deputy's functionality within these different environments.
- Think Platform, Not Just Projects: While each partner integration has unique requirements, your job is to identify patterns and build solutions that can scale across multiple partners. This means sometimes pushing back on custom requests to maintain a sustainable approach that doesn't require rebuilding everything for each new partnership.
- Coordinate Across Company Lines: One of the most unique aspects of this role is working with both Deputy's internal teams and external partner teams simultaneously. You'll need to influence roadmaps on both sides without direct authority, finding ways to align priorities and timelines across organizational boundaries.
- Design for the Full Journey: Create experiences that work for customers at every stage - from initial setup through daily use and beyond. While quick activation is important, you'll need to consider the entire customer experience within partner platforms to drive long-term success and retention.
- Make Decisions Without Perfect Information: Partner timelines often demand quick decisions with limited data. You'll need to provide clarity when things are ambiguous, making judgment calls that balance technical considerations with commercial realities, and communicate the rationale clearly to all stakeholders.
- Roll Up Your Sleeves: This role requires getting hands-on with technical details when needed. You'll find yourself writing documentation, reviewing API implementations, and sometimes directly helping partner engineers troubleshoot issues to keep projects moving forward.
- Navigate Complex Requirements: Work through the practical realities of security reviews, compliance requirements, and data protection standards that come with cross-platform integration. You'll need to find pragmatic solutions that satisfy both Deputy's and partners' regulatory needs.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of Product Management experience
- Good commercial experience in Product Management or relevant product experience
- Well-rounded background across UX or Tech
- Care and passion for their product, customer and the business
- Smart and an analytical mind - be able to create meaningful insights from user data
- Be curious, a great listener and communicator
- Strong understanding of technology - its limitations and its efforts
- SaaS experience preferred but not required
Employee Perks
- Ownership in the company via Share Options
- Paternity/Maternity Leave Policies
- Flexible Remote-First Work Policy
- Company wide Development & Coaching
- Hackathons
- Awards - "Your Time to Shine & Celebrate Success"
- Social Events & variety of social clubs (Books, LGBT, Games, Sports)
- Mental Health Support
- Munch & Learns
