The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for supporting the Learning & Development Manager and wider team to design and implement  programs that align with company goals and objectives.This position is responsible for identifying learning needs, facilitating internal training sessions and managing L&D projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage People & Culture service desk tickets, assess requirements, and take appropriate action.
  • Collaborate with People & Culture to support stakeholder learning and capability needs.
  • Identify and recommend conferences and workshops aligned with the capability and skills framework.
  • Partner with People Partners to develop managers and leaders, empowering them to lead their teams effectively.
  • Design and facilitate bespoke internal training sessions and workshops as needed.
  • Coordinate with vendors to plan VGW Essentials and VGW Academy training calendars within budget.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance training effectiveness.
  • Analyse key reports and support Engagement Survey initiatives.
  • Define and track business metrics to evaluate program success.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organisational Development, Human Resources, Psychology or a related discipline is desirable.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Learning & Development Specialist or similar role.
  • Self-sufficient and experience working in the technology, gaming or adjacent industries is desirable. 
  • Strong understanding of organisational behaviour, change management principles, and adult learning theory.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
