The opportunity
Bring your extensive digital learning design, creative, and strategic thinking to the Elders Insurance Business. This role supports the Elders Insurance franchise network, which is in over 200 locations across rural, regional, and metro Australia.
Your new role
In this role you will identify, research, design, develop, and maintain learning solutions that align with business goals, help coordinate and deliver learning events flawlessly, manage the supply of learning interventions to meet requirements and enhance customer experience, and partner with various teams to build learning content in line with strategic business plans.
Responsibilities include:
- Apply a contemporary understanding of workplace learning and leverage digital resources to create and maintain interactive, engaging learning solutions that are effective in achieving desired outcomes.
- Plan, design, and maintain learning initiatives in line with business unit capability priorities and budgets.
- Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Implement policies, processes, and procedures relevant to the design and development of learning initiatives.
- Track delivery of activities to meet milestones and delivery requirements.
- Provide research on best practice development tools/methods for future-focused learning programs.
About you
To be successful as the Learning Design Lead you will have extensive experience in learning design, leveraging digital learning resources, ideally within the general insurance industry
- Experience in applying contemporary learning theory and human-centred design in workplace settings.
- Hands-on experience in delivering integrated capability solutions using multiple technologies (e.g., Articulate, Generative AI, Vyond).
- Proficiency in learning and process facilitation for diverse business contexts and stakeholder groups.
- Expertise in consulting with business stakeholders in complex and fast-paced environments.
- Experience in applying capability frameworks and models to underpin business strategies.
- Ability to partner with numerous stakeholders to develop effective learning offerings, navigate ambiguous environments, and remain outcomes focused.
